← Game AnalysisHow to review your own games
A simple routine for learning from every game you play — the same routine our coaches use before your lesson.
- Write down your thoughts first. Before using an engine, note where you felt unsure and what you were planning.
- Find the turning points. Where did the evaluation swing? Was it tactics, time, or a plan that didn't work?
- Name the lesson. Turn each mistake into one sentence you can remember: "Check every capture before moving."
- Bring it to your coach. Your games and notes are what make your weekly session personal.
